I have saved those recipes and I am going
to try them out next week. That was incredible savings on the piglets!

Your weather sounds similar to what we have been having. We have had a lot
of humidity this year and rain. Everything is so green over this way when
usually it would be like a desert. We have one or two hot days, then rain,
then cooler for a couple of days before warming up again. Strange...

I am picking zucchinis and trying to think of recipes to use them up. I
gave some away, baked a cake and made ratatouille. At the moment they are
getting added to everything :)

I am also picking tomatoes and cucumbers. Still waiting for our nectarines
and grapes to be ready. They are late this year.

I looked after a friends garden this week while she was away and ended up
with seven kilos of figs. I have sliced them up and put in the freezer for
now.

I baked bread.

A while ago another friend gave us a Bissell carpet cleaner, so on Monday
when it was in the 40's I cleaned our carpets. It did a great job. I used
only vinegar and a tiny bit of wool mix for shampoo instead of the
expensive name brand product. It worked perfectly.

Stayed away from the shops as much as possible and used up what I had in
the pantry and freezer. I needed to make room :)

Sold excess eggs.

Haven't had to water the garden as much because of rain.

Baked lamingtons for Australia day.

Have a lovely week.

xTaniaTaniahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10176661940614462611noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814984506642537843.post-75856970279780097852017-01-26T09:55:29.550+11:002017-01-26T09:55:29.550+11:00You had another great week Cath.
