We live in such extravagance that for most of us we don't think of throwing things like apple peel in the rubbish or even the compost before we've used as much of it as we can as waste.

I've posted the instructions for the apple drink in A Change of Plan and Homemade Apple Drink, 28th July 2013.Cath Armstronghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12982092492622482815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8814984506642537843.post-3431309379768393522013-08-10T12:48:57.314+10:002013-08-10T12:48:57.314+10:00Hi Cath,

My daughters have just moved into a house together and are finding new and inventive ways of using leftovers on a tight student budget. My MIL gave them a bokashi bucket and it is well used.Ah.... the next generation of cheapskaters.
I am also interested in the apple core drink recipe. Perhaps you can publish it in tip of the day??? My girlfriend who still wastes food told me she was so proud in cleaning out her freezer that she nearly filled the rubbish bin I was horrified waste not only money but effort for someone to make then we buy store electricity then she throws it out only to shop to fill again. I only have a small freezer at bottom of fridge every few weeks I have a freezer challenge and try to empty before my next meat shop.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
